Paragon Music
Paragon Music
Paragon is an inclusive music company inspiring people to create and perform their own music. They are passionate about using music and the arts to raise people's aspirations, promoting positive self-image, teamwork, communication and learning.
Workshops are inclusive and accessible for people with additional support needs. Current workshops running in the Theatre Royal studio include:
Nith Riff
Nith Riff is a programme for adults across Dumfries and Galloway. It provides a unique opportunity to ‘jam’, experiment with different instruments, and develop songs together in a social and inclusive setting.
Workshops are designed to support participants in experimenting with music, musical instruments and singing/songwriting/spoken word - building confidence in their own musical abilities. They are delivered in a hybrid model where attendance can be ‘in-person’ or online, via Zoom.
Resonate
An inclusive group music project for young people (15 – 25 yrs). Come along to Resonate, meet new friends and enjoy creating and discovering music whilst contributing to regular performances at festivals and events throughout the region.
All sessions are lead by a group of professionally trained Paragon musicians and practitioners who specialise in supporting young people, and people with access requirements. Workshops are delivered in a hybrid model where attendance can be ‘in-person’ or online, via Zoom.
