Marketing & Communications Officer
£18,500pa Closing date 15th May 2017, Interviews 18th May
We are now seeking a talented and motivated individual to run our marketing & communications as part of a small core professional team working alongside a dedicated group of volunteers.
This is preferably a full-time position working “office hours” but flexible working arrangements are possible. Experience of Theatre or Arts marketing preferred.
The Theatre Royal is always looking for more volunteers to help us. If you are looking for work experience, our front of house teams need additional staff for events, or our heritage project needs volunteers to help catalogue our collection.
Alternatively, if you're interested in acting or backstage work, then maybe joining the Guild of Players is for you. The Guild is always looking for more people to take to the stage, build sets, do costume and make-up and work front-of-house.
Currently, we are also looking for volunteers to help us staff our Box Office during the day, allowing us to open the theatre up to visitors for more than just performances. The role will primarily involve engaging with the public and acting as the friendly, welcoming face of the theatre.
Whether you're looking for work experience, looking to learn new skills or simply want something to do in your spare time, we would be delighted to have you join our team. We are happy to accept volunteers of all skill levels as full training in our systems will be provided.
